About

Founded by Margot de Rochebouët and Giovanna Traversa, Hatch began as an off-site curatorial platform in 2022, evolving through various formats in European cities before establishing itself as a gallery in January 2025.

While fostering cross-generational dialogues, the gallery represents a global roster of emerging artists, with a strong focus on Latin America and the Middle East. Particular attention is given to underrepresented practices that explore and address critical themes of our times, investigating the role of place and identity. In order to delve into these phenomena, the gallery deploys a specific programme which embraces a cultural collective, expresses differences and disparities and determines to transcend intangible borders.

Beginning of 2026, Hatch Gallery will inaugurate its permanent space in Paris, continuing its commitment to fostering the next generation of curators, collectives, gallerists, and artists through a platform for research, experimentation, and development.
