On the occasion of Art Basel Paris 2026, Hatch Gallery and art advisory AMA Advisory renew their collaboration with The Best Offer, an exhibition bringing together works from the 1960s to the present day.

Featuring works by Alighiero Boetti, Dan Flavin, Diego Giacometti, Simon Hantaï, Robert Rauschenberg, Sean Scully, among others, the exhibition takes the form of a private collection belonging to an anonymous collector, assembled over several decades through encounters, discoveries and evolving affinities.

Like the hidden collection at the heart of Giuseppe Tornatore’s film, The Best Offer plays with the fine line between looking, wanting and owning. Here, too, the distinction may be just as fragile.

For one month in Paris, the doors to this private collection are open. And unlike his collection, perhaps everything here has a price.
