Perrotin Celebrates Discovery and Rediscovery.

In the spring of 2020, in response to the seismic shock of the COVID-19 pandemic, Perrotin threw open its doors to its Parisian peers. In an unprecedented show of solidarity, Emmanuel Perrotin invited 26 galleries to exhibit at the Espace Saint-Claude. At a time when art fairs and museum exhibitions had ground to a halt, this collaborative initiative, titled Restons Unis (“Let’s Stay United”), served as a reminder of the central role of gallerists – alongside artists – within the artistic ecosystem, and of the importance of unity and diversity within the French cultural scene.

Today, the landscape has changed, but the need to stand together remains. Restons Unis 2 intervenes in a different context. The health crisis may be behind us, but an uncertain economic and geopolitical climate presents new challenges. In an era where costs rise and obstacles multiply for young organizations, Perrotin is reviving a collective initiative. A snapshot of a scene united by its similarities and enriched by its differences.

For this latest edition, Perrotin has chosen to highlight an essential pillar of the art ecosystem: emerging galleries. These galleries discover, support, and nurture emerging talent, offering first exhibitions and giving artists the time they need for their work to mature.

Restons Unis 2 showcases this new generation of gallerists. The great artistic projects of tomorrow are taking shape today in the galleries gathered here.

Initiated by Martin Brémond, this project brings together a selection of French galleries with varied approaches, all driven by the same passion for supporting emerging or re-emerging artists: Anne Sarah Benichou, Bremond Capela, Double V, DS Galerie, Exo Exo, Hatch, Ketabi Bourdet, Parliament, Pavec, Sans Titre, Sissi Club, Spiaggia Libera et Romero Paprocki.

For the second edition, Perrotin will host the following artists: Clément Bataille, Maty Biayenda, Mireille Blanc, Anna de Castro Barbosa, Kara Chin, Idir Davaine, Madeleine Dinès, Inès di Folco Jemni, Laura Footes, Florian Fouché, Laura Garcia Karras, Cyrielle Gulacsy, Pauline Guerrier, Mie Olise Kjaergaard, Eva Marisaldi, Lou Masduraud, Madeline Peckenpaugh, Maximilien Pellet, Marilou Poncin, Sequoia Scavullo, Helmut Stallaerts, Guillaume Valenti, Jack Warne, Gaspar Willmann, and Xolo Cuintle.

A polyphonic celebration of the diversity, creativity, and solidarity of a rapidly growing ecosystem
